A Safer World, Thanks to the Iran Deal

Due to a moment many thought would never come: Iran has delivered on its commitment under a 2015 agreement with the United States. They also gave other major powers to curb to eliminate the most dangerous elements of its nuclear program. The world is now safer from this action displayed by Iran.

I take a stand to say that I don’t know how to complete feel about the subject and rather disagree. We are known now as one of the countries that have freedom rights compared to others and to sustain that we never can have our guard down so we can be ready for betrayal. Obama may have said that they cut off every single path Iran could have used to build a bomb but I have a feeling on the side they may be creating a side factory that we do not know about. Noting that is was stated Iran made an engagement that created a “window to try to resolve important issues.” Most important of all, Obama said, “We’ve achieved this historic progress through diplomacy, without resorting to another war in the Middle East.”

The way this affects the world is by really estimating the loyalty we have for other countries. For example, this may be a accurate deal and Iran has nothing against as but we still need to be prepare in case they gang up on us through ISIS’s sick mind tricks. ISIS has been known for many dangerous and violent acts and I would not want our new “allies” to do anything of that nature to us.  For the safety of all families around the globe you should always be protected. I am not saying that we need to never trust anyone but we always need to be ready for what ever life throws at us so the downfall won’t make us crash and burn. In conclusion, I am never for or against this paper I will just simply say through actions previously displayed by Iran and Obama we shall not underestimate anything that may come our way.

Despite Clear Dangers, DuPont Kept Using a Toxic Chemical

On Sunday in a article there was a bare unconscionable decades-long efforts of the DuPont company to hide the dangers of an chemical and bamboozle regulators into allowing toxic pollution to continue later the dangers were known. The article by Nathaniel Rich described how a lawyer, Rob Bilott, built a case against DuPont, based on the company’s own studies and internal documents. The case illustrates the urgent need for Congress to complete the efforts to reform the Toxic Substances Control Act, which has allowed tens of thousands of untested chemicals to remain on the market. Some even say the manufacturer’s were so-so safe.

As taking a stand into this situation of these chemicals being distributed I simply disagree with the allowance of them being released in these manufactures. Due to DuPont dumping its toxic waste into a creek that ran through a pasture where farmers grazed and watered their cows, causing deaths among the animals. This action of his conveys my stand of why the chemicals that are killing these animals should be get rid of. The current law has no requirements for the E.P.A. to review the safety of existing chemicals so this need to be addressed and brought up to the people in charge of our healths attention. The Senate bill would need to require prioritization in all chemicals in activation and set deadlines for their review.

How this effects the world is by not only what these chemicals can do to the animals but to the people. Back when DuPont released the chemicals and hid evidence that they had contaminated they said that the local water supply was just well beyond what the company’s own scientists considered safe and far beyond what independent scientists approved of. So instead of it sounding confessing to spilling this illegal substances the company just acted like they have had an accident. In conclusion the people in charge of oil spills and chemical mishaps there should be stricter laws concerning the amount or items used for making these liquids.

The Hear-Nothing Gun Crowd

My article this week is over the topic of gun control.

American politics may seems as if we are just going past each other based on the one side saying their point of view about an issue like taxes. The current fight over gun control is not one of those moments. It is a consistency of misrepresentation, sadly almost entirely from one side.

I take a position into the situation by wanting to have the right to bear arms. However, stating this statement I believe that the gun control should be a very sensitive matter. If we didn’t have criminals in our world then we wouldn’t have this problem but because of their actions we are having to decide whether it is safe to let people carry guns around. The president says he wants more government to look over the background checks of people to make sure that when handing out these guns he is putting them in the hands of a responsible person. I agree that would make it a little safer but who are you to know that everyone is going to use those in the right positions? You don’t.

The way this affects the world is if Obama says he will not take away our guns but is simply making the background checks harder to pass then I hope this can decreases the number of people in the U.S. Soon with all the bad happening in the world today almost every family will need to know how to work and own a gun. It’s sad to say but in the security of your household you need to do what’s best. And what is best is the protection of family. In the article it states that the Hear Nothing Crowd was informed on a slaughtering of teenagers in college and they did not even budge. In the future I would suggest us getting a better system together because in all situations mild and tragic we as people need to step in and take charge.

Race and Reality: The Scourge of Segregation

My article this week is over the issue of segregation.

Reginald Jackson drove along the desolate streets of a once-vibrant African-American neighborhood, laying out long-established racial and behavioral codes perfected in this Midwestern city. “Milwaukee is a place where isolation has a huge impact on the relationships people have,” says Jackson, who was a young boy when his family moved here from Charleston, Mississippi. He describes how he has the the world start to change back to the way it used to be.

I take I position into the subject with pain and sorrow for the African Americans. They should not be treated any differently based on their color. I am a christian and I believe that God didn’t make each and every one of us to just tear each other apart. When looking back at how slavery was and is somewhat in this day and time makes me cringe at the thought. We as individuals need to look into the matter more and see how this wold is about to come.

The way it effects the world is by having segregation in all countries. Not only does this affect the Untied States but it also affects the rest of the work with different races. The common denominator is not just blacks against white, it is also races they are being separated. In this day and time if we want to keep our sanity in what’s right I suggest that everyone look into this tragic event that is going on and help fix it now. In conclusion, one day I wish we could all look at each other and not look at our appearances and look at what truly matters which is what is in the inside.

Paris attacks: Suicide bomber identified; ISIS claims responsibility for 129 dead

My article this week is over the devastating event that happened on November 13,2015 in Paris when suicide bombers came to try and destroy the pride of people in France.

While looking over the article you can observe that the intentions of these bombers were for their own sacrificial duty. The fact they blew themselves up was in aspiration of their belief to maintain the rightful action of keeping their “leader” delighted in the process of hurting and killing others. In the process of killing innocent people they overall total calculate after the tragic event was 129. President Francois Hollande deemed the shootings and bombings “an act of war.” He said early Saturday, “We will lead the fight, and we will be ruthless.”

The way I take a position into this is severely feel devastated for the lives loss and feel the grief the families are feeling. The fact that these actions are very similar to the other world wide event of 9/11 France helped us when we were struggling so now it is our time to show them our appreciation. If I were in Paris right now on the day that all of this happened I might not even be alive right now. We as people need to this a way to help these people even though the bombers where never in contact with the United States we as Americans should stand up for what is right. The bombing was say to kill more than 120 and the way I see it is even though we didn’t know these people we all need to lift those we loss in our prayers and show a sign of unity for the world.

That’s what leads me into my next discussion of how this affects the world. Well I tell you why is because if we are other countries unite together in taking these foreign gangs and ISIS down then we can resolve these situation for later precautions. In those 24 hours we also loss people from Japan, Beirut, Baghdad, Mexico, and Lebanon with a total from all countries with 115,200 heartbeats. This giant amount should make us aware that we need to up the security. We shouldn’t have to do this because America is said to be the country with the most freedom but due to reckless acts like these displayed by these bombers we have to secure ourselves.

Alabama police charge 8-year-old with murder in death of 1-year-old

My article this week is over an 8-year-old boy who beat his sister to death.

In the overall aspect of the article the 1-year-old girl wouldn’t stop crying while the mother was at a club. A 8-year-old boy became annoyed and “viciously attacked” the toddler, beating her to death, police in Birmingham, Alabama, said. Little Kelci Lewis suffered severe head trauma and “major internal organ damage.”

The position I would take on this matter would be my opinion on parent control. If I were to leave my 8-year old son at home by hisself (which I would never do) I would at least make sure I had someone else there to supervise like a babysitter or friend. When I become of age and get married I would like for my kids to know at a young age that even when their sister/brother gets on their nerves they should never hit each other and if they did their would be consequences. The mother in this article might not have been at the scene but she could have prevented this happening if she were not at the club partying. In the future I would advise that you would take more precautions before something tragic happens like the death of the 1-year-old.

This effects the world because if the parents all around the world continue acts like these then their would be no common ground on what right. When teaching kids that it is okay to get as mad as the 8-year-old did this is the opposite of how the situation should be handled. I would also say that other countries may not have this issue right now but if this is a continuos thing then other children will think it is ok. If the parents around the globe don’t have a babysitter to take care of the child then I would suggest that you find a friend or family member to see them because you do deserve time to yourself but not leave an 8-year l-old with a 1-year-old by him/herself. In conclusion parental supervision is an extremely important part of parent hood and should be greatly stressed through each country and be one of the number one rules to look at.

Report: U.S. aircraft carriers could become ineffective

My article of weeks topic is over the decreasing amount of aircraft carriers that could lead us into some serious problems with war in the future.

Calling the U.S. aircraft carrier the “backbone” of America’s global military presence, the Navy’s top brass highlighted the risks of failing to maintain a big enough fleet during testimony. Increasing our chance at destruction the aircraft carriers The big man Hendrix states “New capabilities in the areas of unmanned systems, stealth, directed energy, and hypersonics could be combined to provide the range required to perform deep strike missions.”

The way I put myself into this world is by being an american. I always want what’s best for our country and to show the opposing teams that they need to be better because whatever weaponry they have we will be able to fight back. These becomes a huge issue when we discover how important the aircraft people regarding whatever country it is from. Recent studies show that hurts U.S. power projection and its ability to contemplate regime change strategies that have dominated many modern American wars. We also need to realise if they really do become almost non existence. But the Navy said it is confident in the capabilities of its air wing and that the aircraft carrier will remain relevant despite the efforts of rival nations so we can only hope they are right.

If we were to ever just into a situation where we would have to ask fast under attack and bombard them with everything. Most importantly we have the focus on the carriers because without them what would we do? Take into consideration that right now we were under attack. I honestly don’t think we would be ready because of the ineffective aircraft men. By receiving messages from this group of researchers also concluded that the emerging threats posed by evolving anti-ship technology only increase the need to invest in aircraft carriers, provided they have the proper enhancements in capability. Dakota Wood, who served in the U.S. Marines and is a defense expert  and agreed with Hendrix’s assessment that the U.S. Navy must adjust  the rival nations improve. “I think aircraft carriers will exist in their current form for several more years,” Wood said. In conclusion, all you can really do is hope for safety of others and yourself and maintain your determination to help the carriers who help us.

Arrest video fallout: Spring Valley High Officer Ben Fields may learn fate today

My topic this week is over a matter concerning a cop slamming a student to the ground.

The overall image that I got from the article is that when cops are asked to handle situations dealing with students they should be more careful and not cause ruckus. When I watched the video I was stunned as to why Ben Fields jade to act so harshly. Even when Sheriff Leon Lott saw the video of his deputy slamming a student to the ground he said it made him want to vomit due to his actions.

I take my position into this by wanting to give advice to the following cop recruits and watch how the colleague interacts in situations like we saw. It also wants to make my feel sick that someone that cruel can do something like that to a child because he was a big authority. With these titles given to the deputes they should be the leaders of the community and now who people look down upon. I personally as a student will also respect officers but in these situations it would probably be best if we could try to avoid these conflicts by not interfering with officers to make them upset. But in the end no matter how upset he/she gets they should never display the action Officer Ben Fields showed.

The world is impacted by the tragic event by cops all around the world. Even though this was caught in action in South Carolina every country and state has some type of leader or leaders(cops) they look up too. Cops are supposed to get the community under control. With the supervision that these cops display is the wrong and negative version of what the community should look like. If we do not do something about this right now then we will never know right from wrong.

Obama Finally Reveals His Gun Confiscation Plan

My topic of this week involves Obama’s new approach on how weapons should be displayed and taking care of from now on for future actions.

The overall aspect I received from this article is that Obama is starting to feel really concired on the matter of gun control. As I read this I also began to sense that a lot of massacres have been displayed since the beginning of times. But I know that in most point of view in the situation is was being dealt with personal defense for their own safety.

I take a position regarding this matter by disagreeing with the president. Yes I know you might say “What are you talking about? You should always respect his decision because he is the leader of our country.” I’m not saying that I disrespect him I am just saying that making it harder to get a gun could cost us as americans later on when we really need them for protection. In a previous articles that I’ve read I have seen that Syria right now is our biggest threat and dealing with invaders in our houses we could be the fault of going to prison for 11 years even though we were just protecting ourselves. This affects me greatly because not only will this affect what is happening now the war that could possibly take place in the future could mean life or death depending on the defensive equipment you have to save your families.

This greatly impacts the world by Obama decisioning to try and outlaws guns as much as he can due to arrogant actions before that were seen to be as a massacre and takes the rights that we given to us long ago. “We know that other countries, in response to one mass shooting, have been able to craft laws that almost eliminate mass shootings,” Obama told reporters. “Friends of ours, allies of ours — Great Britain, Australia, countries like ours. So we know there are ways to prevent it.” What his is trying to say is yes the main problem of this gun control is brought on by other countries but he needs to understand that he will have a lot of people angry with him if he tries to take away guaranteed safety for their families and loved ones like close friends. If other countries are ready for attack and are loaded with weaponry then we should be frightened if we cannot have the same fair treatment to defend. In conclusion I would highly suggests looking into this matter and going on getting the appliances you need because we might not get the chance to have them before they are all gone.
