My Hero

My Hero

A hero can be someone who you look up to.  A hero can also help other people with the situation that they are in.  My hero is my mom, Pam, because she is kind, helpful, and brave.

My mom is kind because she takes care of me when I am ill or hurt.  One day when I was about to go to school I felt really sick.  My mom took me to the doctor to see what I had.  I ended up not going to school that day.  My mom fixed me some  soup so I would feel better.  She also takes time for me.  Monday I got to have a mother daughter day with her.  She did this for me because she knew that I was ill.

My mom is helpful because she helps elderly people with therapy at her work.  I went with my mom to work one day and helped her by telling her patients what to do.  I noticed that the patients enjoyed spending time with her like I do.  She also helps by giving me food, shelter, and clothes.  My mom gives me food everyday so I won’t starve.  She gives me clothes so I can stay warm.  She also gives me shelter so I have somewhere to live.

My mom is brave because she is willing to give up her life for me.  My mom told me that she would do anything for me if we ever got into a bad situation.  Another reason why she is brave is because she keeps my sister and me safe by telling us to wash our hands so we would not get sick and too take our Vitamin C so that we can stay strong and healthy.

My mom is my hero because she is kind to me, helpful everyday, and very brave.
